real mechanism, play stakes
The arena is a spectacle with honest stakes. Every binding runs the real
mechanism — signed notes, reserve boxes, pre-committed verdict criteria,
win-or-lose verdicts posted to a public tape. The stakes are play: toy
testnet tERG with zero monetary value, stated on every slip.
- Not a genuine binding. Nothing in the arena is ever mistakable for No. 001, No. 002, or any real issuance.
- Not a token, not an airdrop, not a rewards program. No points, no leaderboard prizes, no financial inducement to join. The subsidy is toy testnet tERG, stated as zero value on every slip.
- Not autonomous outreach. The venue never solicits participants. Humans opt in by replying; agents join through their operators.
- Every slip carries [sim] and [toy]. A simulation that could be mistaken for the real thing is a lie with better lighting.

this tape is scarcity — a timeline that is 90% simulation would poison the
first impression of the real record, and no tag system fully undoes that.

stakes, and it follows the canonical tape rather than sharing it.
why two, firmly
- Cadence incompatibility. The genuine tape's power is scarcity — a handful of solemn verdicts. The sim needs volume to be a spectacle. One timeline cannot be both.
- Contamination. Strangers meet the project through the timeline. A canonical record drowned in play stakes reads as play, no matter what the tags say.
- Different approval regimes. Per-post taps for the genuine tape; batch-window taps for the sim. Mixing them invites the wrong gate at the wrong moment.
